What to Expect
If you’ve attended church your whole life or this is your first time, we know that going someplace new can be a little intimidating. That’s why we want your experience at Salem Church of God to be the best it can be. Here’s what you can expect any Sunday at the Salem Church of God.
A Welcoming Atmosphere: Please relax, and make yourself at home.
A Kid-Friendly Environment: Your kids, newborn through fifth grade, may participate in exciting activities in safe environments with dedicated and caring leaders. You can find all children’s classrooms on the lower level of our building.
Singing and Worship: Our worship team invites you to sing along or enjoy the music and think about the words as they sing a mix of older and modern songs. You may see people expressing their worship in various ways. We welcome you to worship at your comfort level.
Sermon: You’ll hear a Bible-based sermon to motivate you to find and follow Jesus.
Prayer and Response: You may see people go to the altar to talk to God or pray with others.
